Carving Pumpkins: by Becky

Last week for FHE we carved pumpkins - A yearly tradition of getting our hands messy, hoping we don't cut ourselves, and lighting the finished Jack-o-lanterns. Isaac decided he didn't want to get his hands messy and couldn't talk anyone into doing it for him, so we put his pumpkin out on the porch, guts and all. The rest of the kids seemed to enjoy the slimy mess. I made pumpkin cookies for dessert while everyone else was carving.
