The Fourth Article of Faith: by Bjorn

For family home evening this week Enoch taught the lesson about the 4th Article of Faith. He copied a page from his baptism book and we all took turns reciting it and then did a word search. It was a short FHE because I had a soccer game at 6pm and we had gone to Macey's for ice cream cones after that. Even the short ones are good though. It was good to hear counsel today in General Conference that families should be praying together each day, reading the scriptures together each day, having family home evening each week, and having regular one on one interviews with each child, and know that we are doing pretty well in each of those areas. Of course there is always room for improvement, if not in quantity, at least in quality. As the kids continue to get older it seems that things usually aren't too crazy anymore, though we still have our moments. It is encouraging to see the older kids especially, as they take their turn to give the lesson and do such a great job of teaching the rest of us. I'm happy to see their gospel knowledge and testimony increasing and improving. - Bjorn
